Giving back to the community is one of the CSR initiatives of MCRBI. in 2022, the bank participated in local government and school programs, supported community celebrations and conducted client awareness programs to our microfinance clients.
Brigada Eskwela | Anilao National High School

MCRBI participated in “Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral” of Anilao National High School last August 16, 2022 where the Bank contributed school supplies and cleaning materials for use of the Grade 7-10 students.
Microfinance Consultative Meeting
Padre Garcia, Batangas
Furthermore, a Microfinance Consultative meeting was initiated by MCRBI last August 19, 2022 to develop financial literacy in the community of Padre Garcia, Batangas.
In April 28, 2022, MCRBI was one of the 62 partner lending conduits (PLCs) awarded during the 2nd Gawad sa Paglingap sa Magsasaka at Mangingisda (Gawad Lingap Awards) in Quezon City. The Department of AgricultureAgricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC) hosts the Gawad Lingap Awards to recognize financial institutions nationwide which have given exemplary contributions in the implementation of DA-ACPC’s innovative credit programs for small farmers and fisherfolk and micro and small agri-fishery enterprises. As of December 2022, ACPC has disbursed a total amount of P246.02 million to MCRBI for small farmers and fisherfolks, and medium and small enterprises under different ACPC programs such as: ANYO, KAYA, Sure Aid TAAL and Sure Covid 19. A total of 4,582 ACPC borrowers amounting to P220.01 million was released by MCRBI. Total collection remitted to the Bureau of Treasury is P14.95 million.
