” No calamity can stop a hardworking woman as long as there is an opportunity I will grab it.” – Mrs. Miranda
I managed a Sari-Sari Store and a backyard piggery in my Barangay. I started availing loan from Mount Carmel Rural Bank Inc. year 2018 as a Microfinance loan client amounting to P10,000.00 after then due to increasing need for capital I also applied to their regular loan facility and was approved for a loan amounting to P200,000.00. The loan was continuously renewed due to my good repayment record and growing business. On 2020, I experienced a financial downturn due to the Taal Volcano eruption and the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, I had to leave my place and transfer to an evacuation center. Difficult times bring out the best, I have to move forward and start a business even I was at the evacuation center. I can’t believe how far my business has come after Mount Carmel Rural Bank lent me again a starting capital. My business grew and at the same time I was able to save more. That’s why until now, despite the pandemic, I still continue to renew my loan with Mount Carmel Rural Bank. I am very thankful for the ways the Bank has supported my business. Great job, MCRBI you are truly “Ka-Partner Sa PagAsenso”!!!
– Mr. Joey Castillo.
Mr. Castillo is a regular loan client of MCRBI since 2018. His initial loan amount was Php.100,000.00. He availed this loan to procure additional water purification system and a tricycle service for delivery and collection, since his business had a downfall when they evacuate their previous residence, he needed to compete for all other water refilling station owners. All these loan proceeds are additional capital for his Purified Water Refilling Station. After three (3) consecutive loan cycles, his last loan amounted to Php 170,000.00. He acquired a car, three service vehicles for his business and two personal motorcycles. The Bank also helped him to save for his house renovation. As of this day, Mr. Castillo established a very good credit record the Bank. MCRBI’s products and services will always be available to him when he needs it.
” I really didn’t think MCRBI could help me achieve the business that I absolutely wanted. I just wanted to have a Sari Sari Store because food is one of the basic needs in everyday life. ”
– Mrs. Florencia Usana
In 2003, a Technical Officer who was then doing an area mapping approach me and oriented me on their Microfinance Program “LINGAP SA KABABAIHAN”. I was curious then that I formed a group to join their program and I was elected the center chief. I started my Sari-Sari Store from a loan granted by the bank amounting to P5,000.00. The loan was repeatedly renewed due to my good repayment record and growing business. I am on my 20th year of being a client of MCRBI. What I have is not just a Sari-Sari Store but also a G-Cash partner. Thank you so much MCRBI for doing a great job!”
” Ang Mount Carmel Rural Bank, Inc. ang aking simula “
– Mrs. Perlita C. Magadia
She is a very wise spender and a business-oriented person as she is known in the community. Mrs. Magadia availed a loan amounting to Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00) way back 2015 for an additional capital for her business (Sari-sari Store). After several cycles of loans, she acquired a service vehicle unit and other equipment which she used for her business. In addition to that, even Mrs. Magadia’s house is gradually being renovated from a hut to a concrete residential house. Mrs. Perlita had several loan cycles and continuously builds a good relationship with the Bank. On December 2022, she availed a loan re-availment of P250,000.00 for the acquisition of a service vehicle unit. The business continued to grow until the small store was filled with variety of products. This represents that Mrs. Magadia’s life has changed a lot since she met MCRBI as her “Ka-partner sa Pagasenso”.
Mr. Rico G. Erilla is a regular loans client of Mount Carmel Rural Bank Inc. in Lian Branch since 2019. He started with a loan of P50,000.00 which was used as start up capital for his trucking business specifically in acquisition of a 2nd hand loader truck. He established a good credit record with the bank. As a result, in 2020, Mr. Erilla was granted a loan renewal of P100,000.00 for expansion of his business. In 2022, another P200,000.00 loan was granted for another acquisition of a truck.
